Ichabod

I came across Ichabod after I moved to Australia. I missed the company of my little Pip terribly, so I decided to get another companion to share my love. I decided to get a male so that I could potentially breed him with Pippers, but only if he had a sound disposition and no physical defects.

Icky's Origin: Ichabod was raised on a sprawling farm full of animals of all types and animal lovers. Mom: Short coat black and tan. Dad: Long coat black and tan. Both parent's were papered (registered), but the pups were not.Since I don't think that the papers make the pet, this didn't bother me in the least. I am content knowing that he is a chihuahua with a great disposition.

After meeting the parents (and being spoiled with their happy jumps and licks), we were introduced to the last puppy. He was a quiet, calm fellow with serious eyes. When I picked him up, he calmly rested his head on my shoulder and was content to stay there. His tiny black body, bright eyebrows, and little tufts of long hair on his short-coat body was enough to make mewant him, but it was his calm acceptance and content puppy sigh that made me bring him home.
Ichabod today: What a funny little creature. He loves to visit with his "aunt" Matilda (a Rottweiler) and "uncle" Diesel (a bull arab cross) and plays fearlessly with them. When it comes to people he doesn't know, he's shy and quiet. With "his" people, he's been known to sneak up behind you and nip your bum, have running "oof" conversations, and smile when he's pleased. He enjoys playing at the beach, picking on the cats, wrestling with dogs 5 times his size, and cuddling on a lap or with a furry friend.

His hair is very smooth, but sticks up in long tufts on his neck, legs, tail, and ears. He has a very pretty jet-black coat with "rottie" markings. His tan feet have a black "V's" on the tops of his toes, and a small white spot on his chest.

Look at that chiwowie smile!
